These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Sovnear Private Estate website at sovnear.com and any bookings, enquiries, or services arranged through us. By accessing our website or submitting an enquiry, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Please read these Terms carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

1. About Sovnear

Sovnear Private Estate is a privately owned luxury estate located in Vayalkara, Kerala, India. We offer exclusive venue hire for weddings, private events, corporate retreats, and film shoots — one booking at a time.

2. Enquiries & Bookings

Submitting an enquiry through our website does not constitute a confirmed booking. A booking is confirmed only upon:

• Acceptance of a formal written proposal from Sovnear
• Signing of a Booking Agreement
• Receipt of the agreed advance payment

Until all three conditions are met, your preferred date remains available to other prospective clients.

3. Pricing & Payments

All prices quoted are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Sovnear reserves the right to revise pricing at any time prior to a confirmed booking.

Payment schedules, advance amounts, and final payment deadlines will be detailed in your individual Booking Agreement. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Cancellation Policy

Given that Sovnear hosts only one event at a time, cancellations affect us significantly. Our standard cancellation terms are:

• More than 180 days before event: Advance payment forfeited; balance not due.
• 90–180 days before event: 50% of total package value due.
• Less than 90 days before event: 100% of total package value due.

All cancellations must be notified in writing to info@sovnear.com. Specific cancellation terms for your booking will be set out in your Booking Agreement and shall take precedence over the general terms above.

5. Guest Responsibilities

The primary client ("lead booker") is responsible for the conduct of all guests during the event and stay. Guests must:

• Treat the estate, its staff, and its natural environment with respect
• Comply with any reasonable instructions from Sovnear staff
• Not damage, remove, or misuse any property of the estate
• Adhere to agreed start and end times for the event
• Comply with all applicable laws of India

Sovnear reserves the right to terminate an event and require guests to vacate the premises if this clause is materially breached, without refund.

6. Liability

Sovnear takes all reasonable care to ensure a safe and exceptional experience. However, we are not liable for:

• Loss or damage to personal property brought onto the estate
• Personal injury caused by the actions of guests or third-party vendors
• Events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), including acts of nature, government orders, or civil disturbance

Clients are advised to obtain appropriate event insurance for high-value weddings and events.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, design, branding, and the Sovnear name and logo — is the intellectual property of Sovnear Private Estate and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written consent.

Photography and videography produced at Sovnear events remains the property of the respective client and photographer, subject to any usage rights agreed in the Booking Agreement.

8. Third-Party Vendors

Sovnear may recommend or coordinate third-party vendors (photographers, caterers, entertainers, florists) as part of your event. While we work with trusted partners, we are not responsible for the quality, delivery, or conduct of independent third-party vendors unless they are explicitly included in your Sovnear package.

9. Website Use

You may use our website for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You agree not to:

• Scrape, copy, or reproduce content from this website
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or our systems
• Use the site in any way that may damage or impair its availability

10. Amendments to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date shown at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision. Continued use of our website after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kerala, India.
